By Highest Heaven Adored!

Hail the heaven-born Prince of Peace!
Hail the Sun of Righteousness!
Light and Life to all He brings,
Risen with healing in His wings.
Mild He lays His glory by,
Born that man no more may die;
Born to raise the sons of earth,
Born to give them second birth.
Hark! the herald angels sing,
"Glory to the newborn King!"

Yesterday I had took Josh with me to hear my father sing in a chorale group. They, together with the symphony, sang beautiful songs of the Christmas season. As I thoroughly enjoyed myself, I realized that in this public setting, with this religiously-neutral organization, they still sang open praise to the great God of this universe. As the music hall joined the choir with this finale, I couldn't help closing my eyes and fighting to hold back the tears of my own praise and wondering if the multitude really knew what they were singing. Amazing thankfulness that Jesus Christ, God Incarnate, was the object of public praise.
Soli Deo Gloria!

There is almost nothing better than to sing praise to our Lord and Maker!
I really love Christmas time and all the beautiful songs that come with the season.
God Bless,

I love going into stores this time of year and hear them openlyplaying Christian songs in the form of Christmas carols! How neat is that!

I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only Mama that gets teary eyed when hymns play. And when I'm pregnant, Oh my!!, it's even worse :-)

I love that song~

I have done that at Trans-Siberian Orchestra concerts, too. I have to take a box of tisue with me every time I see a concert at Christmas time. I am continually amazed at the power of music...

Even if they had no idea what they were singing ~ remember than His words never come back void :)

My emotions, also get stirred, when the Word of God is sung.

"Sing praises to His Name...Allelluia!!!"
