Thanks for visiting, Lady Farmer! We moved to this 150 year old farm house 5 years ago and jumped into animals as soon as we could. This includes layer chickens, meat birds, a Jersey that refuses to get bred (I really want milk, butter, and cheese!)a horse for the pleasure of watching it graze :) and our dear goats that give delicious milk. The goats are the real hobby as we do raw milk shares and the children hope to start showing. We took goats and hogs to the fair last year and had a great time. We try to garden and this year I'd like to grow more vegies in an effort to be even more self sufficient. I'm always interested in meeting other farming women...can you share more about your farm life? We can all use the encouragement, can't we? Blessings to you
