Thank you to all my friends for praying that my back would heal. Although I have more recovery ahead, each day I am able to move with less pain. Ice and rest have been my companions and I am mentally preparing for what must occur next: exercise on a regular basis. How I shall fit in one more thing, I do not know. But after this week it became so apparent that my children need a healthy momma! I have been blessed with tremendous helpers, but not being able to function in my role significantly impedes progress around here and my husband has mentioned more than once how difficult it would be for them to have to wheel me around at such a "young" age...
So this next week I will be reorganizing my days to include not only time with the Lord, meal planning and schooling, but also exercising. I'll keep you posted on my progress...

Hey Momma Regan! I have just discovered your sweet daughter's blog, and now yours. You have both been a wonderful encouragement to my husband and I. Our children are young, and our family is still small, but we are getting very excited about being a beacon of light for Christ as a family. That is certainly what you all seem to be. It is wonderful to see examples of mothers and fathers raising their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. It is so uplifting to see children like your daughter Jenna, whose love for Jesus is the most outstanding quality about them. And on top of it all, you've got a farm!!
Thanks for sharing bits of your lives with us out here. Also, I'd be very interested to learn of the struggles you expected to face in having children? My email address is mrandmrs at gmail dot com if you care to message me! :-)
God bless you and heal you speedily! Praying for you out here in California!

Praise God that you are feeling better Mrs. Regan. Exercise is a key aspect of staying healthy and I will pray that you will progress smoothly when you add exercising to your schedule. It is tough, but God will help you through it. Praying for you and your family. :)
In Christ,
Joshua :)
I'm so glad you're doing better Mrs. Regan!

Oh what a praise that you are able to move with less pain! We serve a God Who is the Great Physician and heals physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Blessings to you Mrs. Regan and have a wonderful Lord's day tomorrow. :)
In Him,
Rachel
So glad you are feeling better! I know what you mean....older children can do a great job running things but there are certain things that need a momma's touch! I hope you continue to heal and find ways to fit excercise in your schedule. Rosalie
You would think that all of the activity we moms have between keeping house, chasing after kids, running erands, etc. would do the trick. But alas, once 40 hits none of that counts anymore. I wish we were still next door neighbors, then I would get up early and walk each morning with you! Glad you are doing a bit better.
Continuing to pray for your back...Love the entry way! :)
Thank you all for the prayers and encouragement!
