Autumn

This is my favorite time of year. I love the relief from the summer's humidity, the rest that comes to the garden (and co-incidentally, me), the amazing colors of the leaves that we are blessed to see in our part of the country, picking apples, making applesauce, chopping wood, cool nights with sunny days, but especially pumpkins. A last look at summer~a beautiful Lemon Cucumber
Late summer moon through the sunflowers~Josh's creative eye

Abigail saw the clean lines~flowers cut back for winter

Faithful Asters~hardy and some of the last beauties in the garden

And my favorite~pumpkins. Given by a new friend...how did they know what a sweet gift this would be? I am absolutely certain we shall find room for a patch next year...

Be still,and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
Psalm 46:10
An afternoon horse ride

Hoping that we will be picking soon~

Enjoy a day together while the sun is shining warmly!
