I'm wondering how many times in a day I hear the word "momma?". And how many times do I say the word "Yes?".
Amazingly, the summer seems all but over for us as we move full-speed toward fair week (2 1/2 weeks to go!), remnants of canning seem to endlessly occupy my kitchen, I'm STILL trying to pull together that perfect history curriculum, and the one project I wanted to complete is still not finished. On the bright side, amidst all the interruptions of our life, I actually cleaned a bathroom today. There is a very small bathroom off the mudroom, and though it is technically not my job, I just couldn't take the smell any longer. (Why don't boys seem to notice?) Turns out that the eggs were just collected, and they were the source of the disgusting smell. So two jobs were completed...the bathroom is very clean and the eggs are washed.
As for the voices calling "momma"...keep it coming...I'll keep answering...eventually the projects will be finished and I'll be wiping the sweet faces of my grandbabies.

My mom always teases us, "that all you ever say to me, Mom what's for lunch or Mom I'm hungry." But I really don't think she minds. ;)

I'm thankful I have a child who can call me mom. :) I was only able to have one and he was iffy at first. But, he hung in there and I am truly blessed to be called mom. :) I can't wait for grandkids either. I pray his wife will be able to have more than one child. But, he's only 11. lol. I've got a while yet. :)
I also have already started thinking about grandbabies. Won't it be fun?!
