Simplify

We have so much stuff! Much time seems wasted in the quagmire of clutter, disorganization, and just plain quantity of things when living in a household of ten. I'm thinking about challenging myself with this: each week, I will simplify my life/my family's life in some way, large or small. Does anyone out there want to join me? Whether it's spiritual, mental health, or carbon footprint related, perhaps we can make a small difference. Materialism is way over-rated...

I hear you! I have been avoiding the basement like the plague. I don't know where this stuff comes from. And my girls' bedroom - they pick up the floor TWICE A DAY and still it gets messy. If they don't care about their items enough to take care of them, then I guess I will give them to Goodwill!

Hello :)

I'm a little late commenting but simplifying is my aim too. Where does it all come from? On Saturday we took a car load of 'stuff' to our local charity shop, but this is by no means the first time a car load has gone! Slowly, but surely more is going and we have less clutter to confuse and unsettle us.
