Could it be this simple? Following the homemade laundry soap recipe was very easy to do...I'll be trying it soon and will be very pleased if it also cleans well! If I did the math correctly (!) this could be at least a $50 savings for the same number of loads.

Did you use a powder recipe or a liquid recipe?
I plan to make my own liquid laundry soap someday.... soon hopefully. :)

This is a liquid recipe, and very easy. As soon as my container is empty of the "costco" brand, I will be trying it! Watch for my post...
I make a powder recipe. Have been using it for nearly 2 years and love it!
